The No Man's Land Historical Society has been chosen to participate in the Mid-America Arts Alliance HELP Advance Project. HELP stands for Hands-on Experiental Learning, and No Man's Land Historical Society is continuing its participation from the first phase of the HELP project. This phase of the project will last 21/2 years and involves small to medium size museums in six states: Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas.
The project focuses on strategic planning, resource management, and community engagement. Involvement includes workshops, blogs, cluster meetings, developing museum goals and meeting with peer institutions facilitated by museum professionals.
The project is made available through a 21st Century Museum Professionals grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Mid-America Arts Alliance, and the Oklahoma Arts Council. For more information on these organizations, feel free to click on the links below.
